I'm not very tech-savvy. Will I be able to use this?
Absolutely. Our systems are built around one simple dashboard, and we walk you through everything during installation. The whole point is to make your home easier to use, not harder. If you can use a smartphone, you can use an Astrum system.
How is this different from buying things at Best Buy?
Off-the-shelf devices work in isolation but rarely work well together. We design and install systems that share one network, one app, and one set of rules — so your lights, locks, cameras, and thermostat actually cooperate. Plus, we handle the network engineering that DIY setups skip, which is why those tend to be unreliable.
Do I have to keep paying monthly to use my system?
No. Your system works on its own once installed — your data, your hardware, your control. Our optional managed service plans add proactive monitoring, software updates, and priority support, but they're a choice, not a requirement.
How long does installation take?
Most installations take 1–4 days depending on the tier and property size. Core systems wrap up in 1–2 days, mid-tier systems typically 2–3 days, and advanced systems 3–4+ days. We'll give you an exact timeline in your proposal.
What happens if something breaks?
Hardware comes with manufacturer warranties (typically 1–3 years). Our managed service plans include proactive monitoring that often catches issues before you notice them — and remote diagnostics so most fixes don't require an in-person visit.
What areas do you serve?
